Girls going into Grades 2-5

How many times a week do we practice?

There will be two practices a week for each squad that will be approximately      1hr and 30min.  There will be an additional Saturday practice once a month. Competition cheerleading is a team sport. Attendance at all practices is critical. All cheerleaders will be required to attend cheer camp on June 1-4 to begin learning the skills required for the coming season.  Regular practices will begin at the end of August-the beginning of January.

When are the required competions? (2 competitions and 2 exhibitions)

  • October - sideline cheering and exhibition @ IRC football game halftime
  • Nov. 20 - FCC Impact Regional's @ Masters Academy in Orlando
  • December - sideline cheering and exhibition @ IRC basketball game halftime
  • Jan. 31/1 - FCC Impact Nationals @ Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando
  • You will have to commit to practices over Christmas break held from Dec. 27-30 in order to prepare for Nationals.

How much does it cost and what will it cover?

Total: $800.00. $200 is due at registration, (2nd, 3rd and 4th payment of $200 are due in September, November and December)

Impact cheer fees cover:
Custom Uniform, bodyliner, Shoes, hair bow, 2 practice shirts & shorts, monogrammed backpack, cheer mix music CD, cheer camp, stunt clinic, instructional DVD, poms, devotional book, embroidered warm-ups, routine choreography, gym rental fee, competition registration fees, end of the year gift, hotel and food at Nationals.

Additional Costs:
Tumbling classes once each week

When and where can I sign up?

We will be holding registration through-May 12th. Space is limited, so register early. You can pick up information and register in the Indian Rocks elementary or middle school/high school office Monday-Friday. The information needs to be read thoroughly and signed by the cheerleader and guardian. There will be a parent meeting on May 18 at 6:30pm in the Choir Room & there will be a Kickoff Clinic/Fitting on May 20 from 3:00-5:00. We encourage a parent to accompany your child to the Kickoff Clinic/Fitting so you are sure of your child size before orders are placed. Your first payment will be due by May 18th.
