You can be confident that you are making the best choice for your child’s private school education from preschool through grade 12. The following lists detail the requirements for admission to IRCS. For a complete list of entrance requirements please reference the New Student Admissions Packet.
Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year opened on Monday, September 26th at 9 am.
Preschool Applicants:
- A completed New Student Online Application and registration fee (non refundable) NOTE: Four year old applicants participating in the VPK Program must provide a Certificate of Eligibility from Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County, Inc. See www.elcpinellas.net for instructions. VPK only (half day only) participants do not pay a registration fee to IRCS.
- A completed Preschool Enrollment Record as required by State of Florida Children and Family Services
- A copy of child’s birth certificate
- A Florida Certificate of Immunization – Form #680 (completed by a Florida physician)
- A Florida Physical Exam – Form #3040 (completed by a Florida physician)
Elementary, Middle/High School Applicants:
- A completed New Student Online Application and registration fee (non-refundable)
- A copy of child’s birth certificate
- A copy of child’s most recent report card- (2nd-8th grade: 2 years)
- A copy of child’s most recent achievement test scores (FCAT, SAT, etc.)- (2nd-8th grade: 2 years)
- A Florida Certificate of Immunization – Form #680 (completed by a Florida physician)
- A Florida Physical Exam – Form #3040 (completed by a Florida physician)
- A transcript (for high school applicants only)
- A Sports Physical form if applicable
The above information is essential in securing an interview for Admissions at Indian Rocks Christian School. Please Note:
- An Entrance Test will be administered to determine Kindergarten readiness.
- A Reading and Math MAP Screening will be administered to all 1st – 12th Grade applicants.
- Students must hold a minimum GPA of 2.0 to be considered for admission.
- Students must have verification of an average total stanine score of five with a score of four or better in each major academic area on prior year achievement tests.
- Students must be at or above grade level as demonstrated on two years of standardized test scores
- Students must demonstrate acceptable conduct and good behavior as evidenced on prior report card behavior evaluation.
After all of the above documents have been submitted and screenings completed, you and your child may be scheduled for an interview with the appropriate grade-level principal. At that time, you will be asked to sign a Statement of Cooperation and a Financial Agreement. We look forward to serving your family through this process.
