Basketball, Girls & Boys
Basketball is one of the larger athletic programs at IRCS which consists of six teams; Middle School, Junior Varsity (JV) and Varsity teams for both girls and boys. Student athletes in grades 6-12 participate at any one of the levels according to their skill set. Tryouts are held and cuts are made to determine the final rosters of 10-15 players for each of the teams. Players represent IRCS and Christian sportsmanship on the court, competing against public and private school teams. All home games are played in our state-of-the-art gymnasium located on campus in the Family Life Center. IRCS athletes have been very successful in playoff competition over the past several years and several players have received scholarships to compete at the college level.
