A Letter from Walt Weller
Dear Parents and Supporters of Indian Rocks Christian School,
Last year, IRCS began efforts to place increased emphasis on exposing our students to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). This effort naturally aligns with the IRCS Mission of providing a quality Christian Education. We are committed to ensuring a productive, vibrant program for every age and grade level, with the overarching idea of providing IRCS students the opportunity to apply what they are learning in class to solve real world problems.
For our program to become fully functional, we need to provide our students and staff with a STEM Resource Center. The church has graciously provided a building and our plan is to renovate it into a state-of-the-art resource center that will be available to our students and staff during and after the school day. Practically speaking, we are providing an interactive, multi-faceted STEM hub.
For this to happen, we will need support from committed members of our school family and community. From mentors to financial supporters, we are relying on our community to partner with us to make the STEM resource center a reality. IRCS is exempt from federal taxes under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code; therefore, all donations to IRCS are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. If you would like to partner with us, please contact me, Walt Weller, or Tracy Springman, the STEM Coordinator.
In His Service,
Walter Weller Superintendent IRCS
